This is a wonderfully complex and layered Riesling with effervescent acidity, florals, white fruit and minerality. Lemon peel, pear, slate, and honeysuckle are on the nose and palate, each with its own distinct but harmonized role. If only there was more to be had! — 2 months ago
I should have waited a couple of years for this. Almost undrinkable without decanting. Great potential on this as after 4 hours of decanting, this was great. — 2 months ago
Bedrock wines don’t disappoint. Pagani Ranch Heritage is a classic Bedrock. — 3 months ago
Another rollercoaster experience with Bedrock but happily this was on the up side; maybe 10 years is the key. Opened, tasted put in an aerator and went to dinner. The wine was excellent start to finish and did not seem to change much. A lot of dark fruits all around, smooth finish and just drinking great. Too busy at dinner with friends to have detailed notes. — a month ago
Give it a good decant. — 2 months ago
Good but still closed (?) at almost 10 years in the bottle. Bedrock and Carlisle bottlings are a different style but have been more accessible up to this age. — a month ago
Slightly muted with age, but still strong, supple fruit dark smoking meat went perfect with smoked reverse, seared ribeye steaks — 2 months ago
