Weill Vineyard Exposition Three Syrah 2012

red and black fruit, floral, smoke, black pepper, full body, glossy. Med + acid, med tannin. A very big wine but still finds balance. ⚡️🔥👌 — 2 days ago

California Syrah 2018

Young but good. Floral with snappy blue and black fruit, but little to no game or olive I’m it’s profile. Great value. — 18 days ago

Dolinsek Ranch Heirloom Russian River Valley Red Blend 2009

Popped for Zoom tasting with Morgan Peterson and his father, Joel Peterson. Very stylish well-mannered mature field blend. Wine was lighter than expected both in the glass and on the palate. Silky smooth and light textured, with plenty of ripe red fruit and enough acidity to effortlessly dance the wine across the tongue. Long, textured finish. The wine is fully evolved and drinking well now. Don’t see any reason to wait. Cheers for two lives given over to love of wine...Joel and Morgan... this glass is raised in your honor...Salute! — a month ago

Papera Ranch Heritage Russian River Valley Red Blend 2016

Morgan Peterson is such a rock star. I love every wine I taste from Bedrock. This red blend is so juicy and balanced, we loved this Sonoma Heritage Wine with our Roasted Sonoma Heritage Breed Chicken, perfect pairing! — 18 days ago

Bedrock Vineyard Zinfandel 2015

Loaded with blackberry with a touch of raspberry, and hints of brown sugar and spice add complexity without disrupting the purity of the fruit. It tightens up with air and tannin becomes more prominent, suggesting that it is in a bit of an awkward stage at the moment, but it has the balance and quality of fruit that I don’t think it will have trouble developing into something even more interesting with cellar time. — a month ago

The Bedrock Heritage Red Blend 2017

When I first opened this, it was very meh. It’s showing a lot better after three days. Jammy with a concentrated nose of blackberry jam, mulberries, ripe black cherries, some herbs. Well made, but riper, more extracted and higher alcohol than I can really get into. I do think I opened it too early though. — a month ago
