Really great. Flowers, honey, apple pie filling, long finish with more tart apples and hint of honey. Worth seeking out. Not as “brut” as I typically think in cider. — 4 months ago
Exactly what I wanted, top shelf, beautiful apple floral, fruit, bark… a lot was captured in the distilling.
Nose,: Large, bright, clean, fresh apple, sweet cider, apple tree bark, rocks, soil.
Palette: Palette cleansing alcohol, followed with notes of fresh cider Apples, apple wood and oak, back palette predominate.
Used for in onions with light crushed anise seed for Moroccan spiced brisket, Apple & Honey Sangria, apples & date stuffed challah, as well as enjoyed on its own.

Nice, elaborate, pear and floral touches. — 2 months ago
Old Calvados from a very good producer… starting to lighten in color. But intense caramel, butterscotch, and ripe red apples on the nose. Silken smooth and a long warming finish. Dangerously easy to slurp and swallow, swirl, slurp and swallow… repeat. Cold winter evening, roaring fire, 2-4 good friends… and all too soon the bottle is history. Note to self.. always have a backup! — 5 months ago
