Maresh Vineyard Pinot Noir 2012

2012 is up there with 2008 as favorite recent vintages. The nose is harmony in a brilliant form. Earth & dark red berries that simply won’t quit. The palate is all bing cherry and exotic spice. Structured & textured, this has a long life ahead, but is drinking beautifully tonight. — a day ago

The first sip will make you think this wine is oxidized but with 10 mins of air it tightens up and seems to get greener in color. An outstanding value for those who dig premier cru Chablis — 2 months ago

Maresh Vineyard Pinot Noir

Pretty black cherry with a hint of cola, more of the same in the palate with an added dose of rose petal and raspberry. Delicate and candied. — 4 months ago

Juliard Vineyard Pinot Noir 2014

Eucalyptus with a gamey rosmary on the nose. A little rose petals as well.

Nice texture. Really good example of a Dundee Hills from a hot year.

Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2012

In the past, this wine has screamed watermelon jolly rancher, almost like it undergoes carbonic maceration. My last btl was about 4 years ago, and things are different now. The waternelon jolly rancher note is still there, but it is enveloped in an earthy complexity, with floral notes. On the palate, excellent acidity, great red currant and wild strawberry, mediun to light bodied, attenuated tannin on a crisp, but clean finish. At peak, imo. — 3 months ago
