A 90 minute decant and perfection! — 2 months ago
2001 vintage. Not decanted. Nice fill and cork. Youthful nose of eucalyptus/spearmint and orange peel. Medium-medium heavy body. Just so fresh. Tasted more like a 3-4 year old Burg instead of a 24 yo one. Excellent length of finish filled with sandalwood/tree bark, clove, cinnamon and raspberry. This specimen needed another 15-20 years to “grow up.” 05.28.25. — 11 days ago
Yeah man. Wow. We’ve got cedar, baking spice, black cherry, blackberries, all in perfect harmony. Goes great with this Chinese dinner w five spice — 2 months ago
Dried cherries on the nose. Very port like with the age. Drinking exceptionally well! — 2 days ago
Decanted for 2 hours. One of the best smelling wines I tried, floral with old world Bordeaux impressions. Intense flavor, high acidity, tannins are there but not intrusive. Long finish. Medium body. — 4 months ago

1995 vintage. Not decanted. Appropriate color. Good fill and cork. Beautiful, integrated nose. Flavors same. Medium-medium heavy body. Dark fruit, earth and spice coalescing into a unified experience now. This is at the top of the bell curve for the next half-decade and probably longer. Still, undeniable power under the hood and completely bewitching. 05.28.25. — 11 days ago
