Originally a blend of single vineyards, including 50% out of Martha's Vineyard. Deep Ruby, aromas of berry fruits, earthy oak & floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with hints of cacao, licorice and leather. Fine dusty tannins, good acidity, well balanced, ending with fruit and savory earthy mineral notes. Nice! Grab a Filet Mignon!

This is a delicious and restrained Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley.
Full-bodied with medium acidity.
Showing red and black fruits with wood, earth, vegetables, spices, tobacco leaf, dark coffee and eucalyptus.
Grippy finish with raspberries.
This 6 year old Cabernet is still young and very tight. Might be in its dumb phase at this point, so it would be nice to try it again in 3 years.
Needs 10 years to mature properly.
The eucalyptus notes overwhelm the black fruits at the moment.
Showing good structure and nice complexity.

Dark ruby color. Aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, black currants/cherries, purple flowers and menthol. Same dark fruits on the palate with additional notes of black olives, tobacco, roasted herbs and black pepper. Meaty texture and a beautiful long and earthy finish. Medium-plus body and rustic/chewy tannins. Complex, concentrated and rich. Excellent! Thanks for sharing James W.

Tasty, but Heitz just isn’t my style, apparently. Didn’t see what the fuss was about with this offering, but likely just consumed it far too early/young.

Blue fruit, stone, berry, medium body with fine tannins, yet some acidity and a firm grip. Wouldn’t be a go-to at the price point.
