After tasting next to other organic/low intervention wines, the structure and finesse of this wine becomes more evident. Smooth red and dark fruit on the palate with good but no overwhelming acidity. Drinks like a wine from a colder climate. — 4 months ago
Pop old bottle
Merlot is a thin-skinned grape and typically tends to ripen faster than Cabernet Sauvignon.
Bold but smooth and dry
« Merlot is a staple of the wine producing regions of South America. Alongside Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère, the bold, spicy grape contributes to Chile's reputation for creating great, affordable wine.
Chilean Merlot tends to be full-bodied yet gentle, relatively low in alcohol yet with a bracing acidity, and it often has a divisive “green” characteristic to it.
Chilean Merlot can stand up to strong flavors fairly well, so pair with a big red-sauce Italian meal, some meatballs, a bit of roasted turkey or even a good pizza. » — 3 years ago

Tami’ is overseen by the much lauded Arianna Occhipinti. It has ample fruit, strong ties to the earth, and an approachable structure low in tannin. It has aromas of strawberry, sandalwood, clove, and salty sea air. Fruity and light with strong acid and flavors of wet slate, it has a cool drapery in lieu of anything abrasive, tart, sour, or crunchy. Strawberry licorice kick at the finish. — 8 years ago

@Delectable Wine this is Arianna by Spoto Wines... the wine entry needs to be modified. Dang. I've had a couple of torrontes, but this one blows them all out of the water. Nose of citrus and herbs. This wine begins with a very heavy, weighted mouthfeel. Dominant notes of lemon oil, lime creme brulee, herbal character and seems to get a little bit of limestone grit on the finish. Classic torrontes for the most part but on steroids (Silvaspoons Lodi) and with more of a weighted body and finish that resembles more of a chenin blanc. You wanna drink these now? Go ahead. Wanna keep them for five years? No sweat. Unfiltered. Originally ordered 3, then ordered a case, and now only have 7 total. Sigh... QPR this one is a 9.8! — 6 years ago

From the #mysterycase. First sip is dry and musty lol. Further sips reveal oranges and anise, like a pizzelle. Not bad 😄 — 6 years ago
