Time! Must give this wine time! It is so tight straight from the bottle that judging it then is unfair. After hours it opens into a beautiful Sangiovese: cherry, tobacco, and violets. — 8 months ago

Darkly floral, the 2022 Rosso di Montalcino opens with a blend of grilled herbs, exotic spices and steeped plums. It's a racy and fruit-forward effort with masses of ripe red and blue fruits swirling across a lively acidity stream. This tapers off with medium length and gently tannic, leaving a lovely resonance of inner rose. (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2024)

Aromatically intense, the 2022 Rosso di Montalcino holds nothing back. It's vividly fruit forward yet with a burst of wild herbs and exotic spice to balance. This is harmonious and pure on the palate, with ample energy and verve as a cascade of crisp wild berry fruits swirl throughout. Only gently tannic yet full of youthful tension, the 2022 finishes fresh yet potent. (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2024)

Great juice. Intense cherry, plum and tobacco hints with a wine surprisingly not tight. — 4 months ago

2019 vintage. Last tasted 10.22.24 (9.4) and 3.20.24 (9.3). Tasted side by side with the 2018 vintage (9.5). Medium-heavy bod. Biggie, encompassing nose. Showing very well currently for an exalted vintage. Finish could use a touch of denouement as it's a bit wild as we speak. Yet, the entire package is fairly formidable currently. Another 4+ years should find this steering into smoother waters and drinking phenomenally. — 3 hours ago
