Not too dry, at antico arco in Rome, smooth — 2 years ago
Primarily Touriga Nacional with small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Tinta Roriz blended in. Deep garnet color with a purple core. Fruit forward aromas and flavors of concentrated red and black berries/cherries and plums. Additional notes of balsamic vinegar, tobacco and dusty herbs with a touch of oak on the back end. Long and persistent finish. Tannins are quite ripe, but in check. Full bodied, complex, rich and nicely balanced. — 7 months ago
This is amazing. Great nose of cherries, sea spray in redwoods, and orange peel. Almost reminds me of an old fashioned without the burning of the nose. Palate is everything I ever want in a wine. Dominated by beautiful light, fresh fruits like strawberry, plum, cherry, then there is a meat quality with the forest notes coming in more during the late palate. Lingering redwood and cherry jolly rancher that keeps me coming back! So good. (Also zero smoke influence) — 8 months ago
This was a very nice sip! — a year ago
Knew nothing about this wine when I picked it up. Totally floored by how good this was. 100% Arco. Herbaceous, peppery, floral. — 2 years ago
