Ruby red. Fresh fruity like strawberry, raspberry and tropical. Podere Monastero La Pineta Toscana Pinot Nero 22 @11000, A Nevello, 250228 — 2 months ago
Really interesting white blend made by devout Cistercian sisters at Monastero Trappiste. Its a deep golden color, showing the 1 week of skin contact. Almost an orange wine. Herby and floral, smells like an aged autumn garden. Chamomile, almonds, and citrus notes. Unsurprisingly savory but still refreshing. (Btw- Love the label.) — 3 months ago
100% Sangiovese. Medium ruby color. Aromas of red cherry, red geraniums, tomato leaf and leather. Black cherry fruit leads the palate with additional notes of tobacco, minerals and savory spices. Long and earthy finish. Firm structure and tannins but extremely well balanced. Acidity is bright and well incorporated. Vibrant and elegant. A very pleasant surprise. Outstanding QPR! — 2 months ago

Enjoyed over a nice meal. — 4 days ago
An inviting IGT from central Tuscany, 75% Sangiovese, 15% Merlot, 10% Cab Sauv. Very tasty and raisiny, tons of dates, multi-layered, already crossing its peak prime time!
Soft tannins, and silky texture and soft finish! — 3 months ago
Great for pizza night! Smooth and the tiniest bit sweet. — 6 months ago

Nice wine. Have had (and enjoyed) their whites before but never the red. Versatile with lots of food. Medium minus bodied and medium acid. Was hoping for a bit more complexity / expression for over $30 but still nice. — 9 days ago
