Delicious. Orange. Cloudy. Nose Apricot. White flower & rose. Smooth finish. Not tart or sour. — 5 years ago
Wow!!!! An impulse buy at NH Liquor in Salem. 95 points from some guy or other, but I almost rate it the same. Delicious at first sip — that forest floor, mossy taste of Boden Essential Red, but the black pepper zing ups the ante. I really love it. It is way better than its price range ($12.99) suggests. Pairs well with a Lifetime Christmas Movie about shelter dogs.
D: Really fucking good. — 7 years ago
Let the brett go with some air, a real funk meister: slight fizz ante, cola & cranberry notes, very low alcohol. This needs to be rose chilled, but don’t over do it. Great summer fun. — 8 years ago
No son tantas las veces en las que un vino emociona, y ante eso sobran las palabras. Una elegancia y delicadeza superlativas, pero con una intensidad que te da un paso por boca y un retrogusto eternos. La copa la olí por horas. TRE MEN DO

Just, just... just wonderful.
Initially, I get quince and a slight licorice that isn’t overpowering. Peach, of course.
The intangible here is just the well rounded character of the whole thing. It’s hard to nail down, but it’s got this savory, sweet, umami, bitter, acid quality to it that just brings a sip to the very edge of paradise as a flavor, a taste, an experience.
I’m glad I went for the gold here. I love drinking the canned sake and the 300 mL bottles when I’m going solo, so I upped the ante a bit and went for the mid-tier higher selection and it paid off. — 6 years ago
(16.5/20) В аромате чёрная смородина, ежевика, паприка и нота сырого дерева. Высокая кислотность и гладкие суховатые танины. Довольно насыщенное во вкусе. Замечательный каберне! — 10 years ago
Crisp, nice minerals, great for warm weather — a year ago
Light and easy to drink, similar to Pinot noir — 4 years ago
Recommended by Union Square Wines, which is a nice looking shop, but definitely a bit overpriced and the traditional type of wine shop where their natural wine section is 4 bottles big and they love their tradition and pretension. Not opposed to it, just think it’s a blue ocean, why not be open to all possibilities of what something can be?
Long as it tastes good...
In any case, this was recommended to me as the traditional example of Chenin Blanc so decided to up the ante a bit and go for it.
Straw color. Champagne mangoes, slight thyme, orange blossom, and subtle jasmine.
Well-balanced. Simple in its structure, but being a writer I know when something seems simple, it takes a great amount of precision to achieve that nonchalant exceptionalism. Graceful, may be a better word.
Brioche, honeyed pecans, and a bit of tropical fruit and stone fruit. Light to medium acidity. It’s pleasant. Like laying in a hammock on a Monday night. — 6 years ago

Big and brawny now but the flavor components are there. Dusty cherry with meaty red fruit not totally ripe yet. Smoke and driftwood ante present in the nose and mid palate as well. There is a hint of seashell on the finish. Excellent with food. — 8 years ago
Malvasia Chardonnay blend. Very nice mid-palate — 9 years ago

2019 vintage. Decanted and tasted after one hour. Medium body. Vibrant and drinking great now but a decade wait might just up the ante. Tough to lay off tho. 2.20.26. — 4 months ago
