Roche Dra Bossora Roero Nebbiolo 2011

Had a chance to have a glass with one of the owners, Alberto I think was his name. I really liked the earth on the nose and palette. A good Italian red wine. At 29.99 it’s higher than I normally pay but would enjoy with friends. — a month ago

A Graña Rías Baixas Albariño 2016

Beautiful wine. Shows richness and extract with zippy acid that drives the wine. Deeply mineral, almost a core of it. Subtle nose at first due to redux but really blossoms with air. Leesy mid-palate and a kiss of oak add complexity and depth. Orange oil, peach, yellow apple, custard, cheese rind, damp earth, white tea, lees, blossoms. The saline element eluded me, called Savennieres. — a month ago

Morena San Alberto Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2011

When they sell a high quality hamburger blend at the local grocery market, you want a red wine that will make you feel like you are eating the finest porterhouse steak. This Argentina Red aged for 7 years fit the bill. Happy Summer 2018 everyone! — 3 months ago

Casèbianco Malvasia di Candida Blend

Crushable orange from Italy - kinda like a brut cidre with bit no fizz. Heavy peach vibes and a perfect summer wine — a month ago

La Mola Cannonau di Sardegna Cannonau 2014

What a seductress! A sultry, island wine that is slowly revealing itself with air. Gamey and earthy nose, intense flavors of fresh red berries, more game and mud on the long finish. Wishing I bought more. A steal for the price. — 2 months ago
