Popped and poured. The 2017 Domaine du Clos Naudin, “Sec” pours a deep straw color, medium viscosity with no signs of sediment or gas. On the notes, the wine is developing with beautiful notes of stone fruits; peaches and apricots with melon and some associated fruit cup notes. There’s a honeysuckle floral component too. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+/high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and there is some really attractive texture. Impeccable balance. I get the sense that this will age well. Drink now and through 2030.

Aromas of pear, fig, white flowers and something sweet, Wonderful aroma! Crisp and a nice smoothness on the bud. Great finish! Perfect with our lemon butter garlic scallops on vermicelli. — 13 days ago
Amazing rose. Surprisingly a Cabernet Franc grape! But absolutely delicious! — 12 days ago
young but yummy — 7 days ago
This is what all American “natural” winemakers should drink. So much tart red fruits, anise, tons of pepper, herbal liqueur like amaro, god tannin. Evolves with air. One of my favorite wines. — 3 days ago
