I bought this on release somewhere between $25-$27.
My first bottle. I have seen people post this w/ nice reviews. It over delivers the price point.
Still needs another 5 years and will live well for 10- 15 years more.
It is classic good vintage Bordeaux. Blueberries, dark cherries, black raspberries, black plum, tobacco, graphite, stone, limestone, moist clay, sage, bay leaf, darker, withering florals, smooth acidity and length, balance & polish for days.
Yeah, the zucchini & sugar snaps peas are cut from my garden the end of this week. If you haven’t had sugar snaps peas out of the garden, you are missing veggie candy. Both crazy good w/ the snap peas taking the tape.
92.5 is more accurate. Really doesn’t taste like a Bordeaux Superior at all. — 9 days ago
Love this wild Savoie kitchen sink red blend. Really a terrific wine for the money. Really vivid nose of pure cherry fruit and mountain spices. Fir trees. Hint of game. Almost sausage. Saucisson. But high toned and floral as well. Palate is ripe and clean with terrific clarity and freshness. Very energetic and linear with terrific length and lovely dash of mineral intensity on the finish. A great wine. Terrific concentration and the best most charming rusticity. Surprisingly persistent. I mean really persistent. — 13 days ago
Выпью один и даже пару бутылок подряд. Очень крутое, кока кола, клубнтка, вишня, клюква. Крутейшее вино. — 10 days ago
Beautiful. Apple and mineral nose. Petrichor. Aromas somewhere between a mineral riesling and Chablis, a little oxidative but so crisp. Palate is not very dense but has a lovely briskness and a lingering finish. Interesting secondary qualities just starting to develop. — 4 days ago
