This is summer patio juice, chug a lug! Ripe red fruit like strawberry and cranberry. I’d have a little chill on it next time and serve with light appetizers, at 12% it goes quick. Excellent entertaining wine. — a month ago

Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.
Beautiful nose of blackberries, blueberries, blackcurrants, cedar, vanilla, licorice, eucalyptus, herbs Mediterranean spices, light earth, black pepper, chocolates and dark coffee. What a gorgeous nose this is.
Medium plus to full bodied, elegant and smooth, with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices, cedar, leather, vanilla, earth, chocolates, tobacco, peppercorn, coffee, light cola, eucalyptus, herbs and black tea.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a beautiful wine from Ribera Del Duero. Soft and smooth. Rich and elegant. Fruit forward with lots of earth and chocolate notes.
This 13 year old is still young, and showing great complexity at this point.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime. So much better after 3 hours of airtime, and definitely worth the wait.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years.
Wine Spectator 96 points. Robert Parker 97 points.
Loved the nose at this point. Feels like a high end Napa Cabernet with some age. So interesting.
A blend of 94% Tempranillo and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in French and American oak barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

The colour has the evidence of a developing wine. Complex aromas of cherries, figs and a hint of leather. Notes of sour cherries, red plums, maraschino cherries and figs on the palate. Lovely acidity that cuts through the layers of drying fruit. It has the perfect balance between fresh and dry fruit for my taste right now. — 15 days ago
A very good fruit forward Nero D’Avola. — a month ago

Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, plum, cherry, blackberry, cocoa powder, spice- like cumin, smoke and forest floor. On the palate, initial flavors of spice, forest floor, florals and cocoa powder. Secondary flavors are fruitier, with blueberry, plum, cherry, vanilla and toasted oak. Long finish with vanilla, florals and berry. Elegant, complex, rich, full bodied and outstanding. — 20 days ago
