Deep ruby in the glass, this delivers aromas of pure, ripe strawberries, dusty cherries, crushed river rocks, and a slight, sour kombucha thing that is really appealing. On the palate the flavors are expansive with a distinct wet sidewalk note and a mix of ripe and underripe fruits together with barely-there oak - it’s delicately powerful. Mellowed tannins and crisp acidity lead to a very long finish. Stinkin’ good juice. — 8 days ago
Surprisingly easygoing and restrained, but honest and of course very well made. Perhaps a bit aromatically challenged at the moment, but there is excellent grip and salinity on the palate. Needs time. *Updated review*: Spectacular on the 3rd night. Pitch perfect balance of fruit and acidity, richness and focus. It has developed a nice chamomile note on the finish with much more pronounced salinity as well. The combination of nerve and texture reminds me why I love Godello so much. — 21 days ago
100 % Tempranillo with 10 months in French oak.
Dark, ruby red with aromas of blackberry , bay laurel leaves and a touch of tar. Medium bodied with bright acidity and flavours of plums, berries, herbal, earthy with a touch of citrus (lemon) on the finish. This wine would be very nice with roasted duck or yakitori. This wine is a great buy!!!! Garnet in color with aromas of dark fruit and spice. Very smooth with a long finish. Tannins are just right. Black pepper for the spice. Would recommend at this price!!!! — 6 days ago
Fresh vanilla bean and dried prune.
The nose is a good Segway to what this wine is, a well done, young Tempranillo. Medium bodied with fresh orchard fruits. Sweet tango apples, blackberry purée, dried oregano, red potato skin. Unique flavors, from an amazing wine house. — 10 days ago
I don’t understand what all the fuss is about? This wine has received crazy good scores from critics and while it’s clean and expressive, the tannins are dry and the wine isn’t ready (don’t know if it ever will be) for consumption now. It says 95% #tempranillo and 5% #Albillo I think it has some Cabernet and I don’t really understand why put the albillo, it hasn’t done anything to this wine in the way of floral aromas or lightness. This wine is 15% alc. and the warming feeling on the finish is out of balance with the body and the fruit concentration of the wine #riberadelduerowine #riberadelduero — 18 days ago
