This is wonderful. The nose is a cross between pax hillsides, Vieux telegraph la crau, and oregon pinot. Love it. So light and complex. Tons of earth, flowers fresh and dried, strawberries, mint, blackberry, very light touch of leather, lavender. Just keeps going. Will enjoy this evolution and want to try next to some other wines. — 4 years ago
Wow this was a fun wine. Blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, and clairette From the brothers behind chateauneuf du pape Vieux Telegraph. Fantastic nose with a burst of floral and spice notes. Extremely earthy body with hints of raspberries, strawberries, flat cherry coke. Nice smooth tannins. — 8 years ago
Blackcurrant, eucalyptus and menthol flavors. Firm tannins. More well-rounded and put together than I expected at the price point. — 9 years ago
Nice Porter from Santa Barbara for stage 3 of Tour of California. Very good. — 10 years ago
This wine, upon further tasting, is more delicious. Fruity and smooth with Pat’s spaghetti ($10) — 3 years ago
That was a magnum. From 1999. I swear. Ask anyone. It was glorious. There was also a magnum of 1999 Vieux Telegraph, but the patron ahead of me poured it into their own glass like a waterfall. Hence the next pour, mine, and what I suspect for the remaining pours, was a circus of bitter floaties everywhere. Sad moment. — 7 years ago
Great taste and smooth. — 10 years ago
So light in color and herbs, flowers on the nose. It has that touch of Grenache fruit, but just amazingly light bodied and balanced for a Santa Barbara Grenache. It was amazing to taste this next to telegraph la crazy and notice some of the similarities. I will definitely be looking to buy more wines from her in the future. — 11 years ago
At 15% very savory with a bit more elegant bouquet than the 2000 Vieux Telegraph side by side — 4 years ago

Pleasant, simple baby vieux telegraph — 7 years ago
Sour beer that drinks like a refreshing glass of wine — 8 years ago
Very nice Pinot. Similar to the Clark & Telegraph Pinot, perhaps a little less fruit forward. Glad I am having it on Christmas Eve - pairs very well with all kinds of foods. — 10 years ago
Easily the best wine I have tasted, amazing. — 11 years ago
