Santa Barbara Highlands Grenache

Translucent, elegant Grenache. Maybe lacks depth, but this is really easy to drink.

Lives up to the hype!

Out of magnum. Very pretty, feminine grenache.

Needs a little time yet to unwind, but this continues to be just about the only domestic Grenache that rings my bell. Amazingly pretty red fruit without over-ripeness, over-extraction, or over-oak.

Grenachey broad nose, licorice, earthy, syrupy, ripe, juicy, hot, good powdery tannin, nice acid, needs to breathe, I think this could bet better.

Very pretty Grenache, lots of Rainier cherry along with underlying minerality. An excellent pair to grilled chicken with spice rub.

"Grace" is the key word here.

What an amazing " tribute" to Grenache! Lasting finish, full, round, loads of mixed black fruit!

So much ABV, great color though...

a gorgeously pure jewel ~ floral w violets on the nose, raspberry, cherries, kirsch, plum, slightly savory, slightly herbal, a faint licorice & botanical note, and a dusty silt-like finish ~ paired deliciously w roasted butternut squash, pancetta, maple syrup & sage on baguette for an autumn lunch
