Archery Summit Estate Pinot Noir

A good Willamette Pinot. Not a Patricia Green but for the value all the Willamette notes you expect — 23 days ago

Summit Vineyard Estate Pinot Gris 2014

This six-year-old Pinot Gris from Oregon is drinking very nicely now. Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel.

Big and bold with lots of interesting notes both on the nose and palate.

Showing citrus, bruised apples, light grapefruits, vegetables, peaches, minerals, white pepper and spices.

A great wine to have by itself, share with friends and talk about.

I love these white wines that with some age become something completely different.

Better when not very cold.

I had this vintage a year ago, and it is much better this time around.

12.8% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

Eola-Amity Hills Chardonnay 2016

The palate confirms the nose with mineral and citrusy aromas of limes, pears and green apples. Well-balanced acidity. 12.8% ABV. A very refreshing chardonnay from the Eola-Amity Hills in Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA.

The pioneers used the name Eola as a reference to the aeolian harp. A wind instrument named after Aeolus, the Greek god of the wind. The gap in this area of the Willamette Valley ushers in howling winds from the Pacific Ocean which are then trapped in the Coastal Range. Cheers!

Quail Hill Vineyard Summit Pinot Noir 2017

Still the favorite Pinot. Perfect in every way. Earthy and just the right amount of fruit. Light but interesting and had depth. — 2 months ago

Summit Selection Game Farm Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Great nose and color. At almost 5 years old features smoothed Tannins. Dry but not overly so. Nicely done. August 2020. — 2 months ago

Bric Turot Barbaresco Nebbiolo 2008

Sourced from the "bricco” (the summit of a hill). Excellent floral bouquet. Although a bit lighter, this wine offers a full mouthfeel. My first exposure to Prunotto was a good one. — 4 months ago
