Stone fruit and chalk, lifted and super dry, luscious mousse. — 3 years ago
Long beautiful finish. Tons of bubbles. Salty around the sides of the mouth. Drink this in a wine glass to get the full aroma. — 8 months ago

We’ve been so excited to taste this German 🇩🇪 sparkling wine – Sekt – made exclusively from the Riesling variety in a brut (dry) style! 🥂
It’s from the Rheingau region and was produced using the méthode traditionnelle involving two fermentations, the second of which is in the bottle, offering close contact with the lees (dead yeast cells) that impart additional texture and unique aromas and flavors in the resulting wine.
On the nose we’re finding fresh cream, peach, apricot, white blossom, honeysuckle, dried white rose petals, petrol, and brioche notes.
The palate is dry with delicious flavors consistent with the nose. The acidity is medium(+); the body and alcohol are also medium. Despite a little bottle age, this wine is still incredibly vibrant and balanced.
This wine is a delightful pairing with the sushi 🍣

Amazing aged Riesling - this bottle turned out better than the last. Stewed and bruised golden apples, still-kicking acid, almond/caramel type nuttiness. Held up well with time! — 9 months ago
Lighter than expected, got tropical fruits notes as the wine warmed up. Bright and light orange link color — 2 years ago

i've enjoyed everything from this producer - this was fairly austere, quite dry & linear, tiny bubbles, yeasty, vacillated between a hint of citrus & apples, bottle just vanished — 12 days ago
