Tawny reddish color with bricking and light rims. While it looks thin in the glass, the nose packs a wallop. Notes of black cherries, rose petals, some dark wood, some licorice and a bit of tar. Very fragrant. In the mouth it's solid but missing a little in the mid-palate. In a good drinking window. The nose is the thing here. — a month ago
Really love this. Strong smell of clean rocks with a bit of fizz. So refreshing — 10 days ago
Andrea Franchetti’s flagship red, Passorosso is made with 100% Nerello Mascalese from various contrade (crus): Malpasso, Guardiola, Santo Spirito, Favazza and Arcuria, at different elevations and soils. Aged in large neutral oak barrels and bottled unfiltered. Bright, pure, red fruit on the nose. Quite powerful and ripe. Red fruit and hints of blood orange — a month ago

Great alone, with food, so solid. Vibrant sweet berries. Tannins moderate and nice. Had two bottles. Cab Sav and Syrah play very well together. Syrah ands the acute, light sweetness full mouth. — a month ago
Plum and cranberry with a plush mouthfeel upfront and a slightly dry finish. Delicious! — 2 months ago
