2006 vintage. Had the 2008 vintage of this last night and it was rocking. Tonight, more reminiscent of an Agatha Christie novel. Potential and the promise of entanglements throughout but no smoking gun. Decanted and tasted over the course of 4 hours. Medium body and always seemed on the verge of unveiling new depth and understanding but never did. The tease was still pretty worthy. 5.28.23. — 4 months ago

From Westside Farms and Rochioli Allen Vineyard sites, medium lemon color, aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral and nutty notes. On the palate flavors of peach, apricot and pears with honeysuckle, smooth with a nutty creamy texture, lively acidity. Medium+ finish ending with fruit toasty notes and savory citrus mineral character. Nice! — 8 months ago
This was the most Burgundian California Pinot that I’ve ever had, both the nose and on the palette. The wine would have benefited from an hour or two decant. Rich darker fruit well integrated with some tar and some earthy notes. — a month ago
