Ten Degrees Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2019

A perfumed nose of ripe strawberries, dark plums, rose petal, a little cigar smoke and graphite, I haven’t had this since our honeymoon! @Tiva Feltman picked up red meat and pepper as well. Medium bodied with a deep ruby hue, the palate itself is light, but not under-flavored. At 2019 it’s still fresh, with a nicely blended acidity, a hint of some tannin but mostly released, with a peppery tang, and a beautiful blend of both floral and fruit. — 4 days ago

L'Ermitage Brut Anderson Valley Chardonnay Pinot Noir 2015

Ugh okay leave it to a Champagne house to make some of the most spectacular domestic bubbles. Creamy effervescence and citrus/caramel/brioche notes—and that’s just the start. Really a standout. — 2 months ago

Les Larmes Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2018

A light to medium weight palate. Tasted blind Barb thought Victorian ie. Giant Steps or Bass Phillip and I must admit that could be so. Savoury red fruits, cherry, raspberry - a burnt toffee note. Soft, smooth fine tannins. A slight hint of tarriness. A good Pinot if not a little expensive. Michael McNamara one of the owners of Prince Wine Store said “one of the best Pinots in 2020”. — 4 days ago

A bit surprised Lattorai makes it to you down under. These get better with a bit more time, 4-6 yrs. Cheers. 🍷

I tend to agree David with your Drinking Window. I was following Jancis Robinson’s window of 2019 to 2024.

Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2020

Picked this up at the local grocery on closeout for about $40 and that’s prob the price it should be. Strawberries, cedar, baking spice, pretty nice. — 20 days ago
