Redwood Valley Zinfandel 2016

Medium body. A little thin. Took a while to open up to strawberries, plums and mountain herb. Would be interested to try this aged longer. — 11 days ago

Enfield Wine Co.

Heron Lake Vineyard Chardonnay 2018

Doesn’t bowl you over with concentration but Enfield is all about subtlety and balance. Green apple, pear, slightly bitter lemon finish, not a whiff of butter or vanilla or toast in sight — 8 days ago

The Drippings Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2017

Drippings= the last five gallons of each estate Pinot barrel blended into one, with a little more oak aging. I like their leaner pinots even more. — 12 days ago

Redwood Valley Petite Sirah 2016

Heady wild black fruit. Minimal oak and air influence. It holds its fruit tight, but clear and clean. I think this will be magic in ten years. — 21 hours ago

“Unique” “Zinfandel grape instead of Pinot Grigio” sparkly dark rose. Delicious. Only losing points for sparkles. — 19 days ago

Pinot Noir Wild Horse Valley Napa County 2006

Bryan was kind enough to share one of his original Pinots from 2006. Sadly the Vineyard was later sold to a financial buyer as so he had to move on. — 8 days ago

Maggy Hawk

Jolie Estate Vineyard Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2018

Tasty red and blue fruits with a nice finish. Quite nice and would rate higher if not for its lack of structure, which makes it a drink now wine, despite its relative youth. Nice effort, but would like to see more depth of flavor, complexity and structure to support the prodigious fruit. — 2 days ago

Argus

Napa Valley Carneros Pinot Noir 2019

This is a very tasty Pinot Noir from Carneros. Showing cedar, ripe raspberries, licorice, light vanilla, blueberries, sweet cherries, chocolates, tobacco and peppercorn.

Easy drinking and dry on the palate with medium acidity.

Nicely balanced with a nice smooth mouthfeel. Fruit forward, spicy and interesting.

Good right out of the bottle and good by itself.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$35.

Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2017

Loved it. Smooth and tasty. Had it at Summit House with Prime Rib. One of the better Pinot Noir. On our favorite Pinot Noir list. — 15 days ago
