Bearwallow Vineyard Pinot Noir

Crushed berry, maraschino cherry, dried herb, sweet berry and earth finish.

Dried red and black fruit, licorice, lingering finish.

Mineral, earthy, tart dark fruit, woodsy with a strong acid backbone.

Pop and pour, notes from 4 hrs open. On the nose: perfume of sweet wild strawberry, soft vanilla, plum, loads of spice. Lovely. On the palate: excellent acidity, ok density, but definitely leams on the lighter side of the spectrum, lightweight, but loads of flavor with dark fruits, earthy notes, and attenuated tannin. Will check back in a few years, but unclear what the upside is based on acid and tannin structure. Very good right now.

Bright and fruity on opening. Juicy, good acidity, and restrained. Really showed on day 3 with serious depth, and a dark fruited, brooding essence. Some soy, brambles and balanced richness.

Nice light berry Pinot

Just wonderful. I think it could use some more bottle age, though. A little austere, but the beautiful nose and minerality made me smile.

I’m a big fan of this wine. Fruit forward but still has the layers of flavor and complexity.

A great, full fruited pinot. Not too much body though. Integrated enough to enjoy today but with improvements to come.
