2011 and still a couple of years to go. Very fruity but dry. Crazy freshness for a 13 year old white. Love it. — 2 years ago
Damn damn damn. If you can get your hands on one of these do it stat. Amazinggggggg. The douro grape is amazing that we had with cacio e pepe. A red when poured that when you look at it you know this is going to take you to another place. When you take that first sip, the taste of freshness. Seriously I could drink this all night — 5 years ago

A cooler vintage in the Douro. And for the first time, stems were used during fermentation has created and strict and aromatic version combining rich red berries with spice with and crushed stone flavours. Still tight but showing great promise. 94 p. — 9 years ago

This has to open up. In the glass of in a decanter and then it’s fantastic. Complex and aromatic. I’d drink it all day. — 7 months ago
Unentschieden, eigentlich mag ich Portugal, aber der war zT abweisend tanninig. — 5 years ago
At the price I consider this to be a good bye. Again not a fine wine but a very strong performing house wine. A little on the peppery side and somewhat thinner than California wines that many people are used to. Other than that a pleasant nose and a pleasant finish. No major complaints. — 7 years ago
Sour black plums, blueberries, bergamot, wild mint leaves, cocoa, nutmeg, charred hamburger, granite dust, and lithium grease. The acidity is bright enough to cut down the aggressiveness of the tannins. Balanced but displays character throughout the finish. Everything seems to fall in place on the palate. Strong fruit and solid winemaking. — 8 years ago
The Portuguese are teaching me at least that blending many vines with passion can produce exquisite experiences: refined, good body, smooth Ramon’s for a young wine, robust color l, varying aromas-really changing constantly!!! — 9 years ago
Expressive nose with waxy lemons, a bit of matchstick reduction, some brioche. There’s also some white peach, white flowers. Quite complex. Rich and yet fresh. Intriguing & enticing.
Beautiful texture on the palate, love the mouthfeel. Layered, quite rich, impeccably balanced & poised.
Very elegant. Slightly creamy texture balanced by racy, juicy acidity. Yellow stone fruit in the back. And a long, saline finish.
Somehow I didn’t like it a year ago, maybe it was a bad bottle.

With portugaise cheese and saucissons.. looking at the sunset of Porto!
Amazing! So good! — 2 years ago
Rich cherry and black currant nose. Color is purple with a watery thin edge. In the mouth it is not as sweet as the nose is. There is a rather fresh acidity bringing balance. It will be accompanied by the veal cheeks and mash. Looking forward to that.
As the bottle was opened anyhow to use a glass in the stew we already started tasting 😉. — 6 years ago
Perfect in every way! Yo — 7 years ago
Oakiness, tabacco, scotch whiskey on the nose. Nice spice — 8 years ago
What a value. Nose of leather and dark fruits with spice. Awesome density on the palate with a great fruity finish and an earthy attack. It’s a bit like a port that isn’t sweet. — 8 years ago
