I was at the vineyard in 2019, so when I saw this I had to grab it.
Vibrant (can’t find another good descriptor) purple in colour.
Needs a bit of time to open up, but when it does… Forrest fruit. Oak. Smoke. Tobacco. Complex yet still delicate. Finish lingers.
Such a solid wine… and it’s organic! — 19 hours ago
Smooth, light, hint of strawberry, pairs nicely with a light salad or crudo dish. — 4 days ago
Before we take a sip, we must embrace this bouquet! The bouquet was amazing. Full of blackberries, cedar and oak. On the palet, this full bodied wine is on the dryer side but paired well with a Tuscan pizza! I guess it comes down to what you eat it with?! The Italians are the wine experts but the Portuguese do a great job! — 12 days ago
This is in such an enjoyable spot at the moment, full of dried fruits and tertiary notes, this is medium bodied, fine and resolved tannin, with med+ aroma and flavor intensity. Fruit that tastes partially dried but has some primary character, cassis, currants and black cherry mingle with mint and baking spice notes, subtle notes of oak weave seamlessly into the bouquet and palate. Finishes med+. — a month ago
