I love a good Pinotage and this is delicious! Very smooth, slightly oaky with red fruit. — 20 days ago

@Severn Goodwin hmm that’s interesting. No I don’t think I pick that up with this one. I will definitely keep that in mind with others though!

Petit Stellenbosch Pinotage 2018

Very nice for the price. Dry red fruits forward with cherry and plum flavors. Earthy qualities with smoke and leather. Well balanced — 5 months ago

Pinotage 2009

And again- reviewing this vintage after 6 years. Wonderful aroma, but delivers a little less. Still great fruit driven, with great balance. — 8 months ago

Stellenbosch Pinotage 2017

Gift bottle from my son. Dark fruit and tobacco. Solid tannins. Excellent! — a month ago

Stellenbosch Pinotage 2019

Drank 6/1/2022, our first in-home pinotage. Loved it, a little more body than a Willamette pinot noir, still paired perfectly with a grilled king salmon. — 4 months ago

Frans K Smit Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2013

Blend of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 4% Shiraz, deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits and cigar box spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with notes of cacao and tobacco. Lively acidity, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and mineral tones. Very nice, will continue to age. — 6 months ago

Stellenbosch Pinotage 2019

Wow. Tops in Pinotage. Blueberry flavor and smooth tannins to finish’. The nose is so fragrant with berries. Sure, not as impressive as a great Burgundy or Bordeaux, but for this kind of fruit-forward wine, this is one of the best. — 5 months ago

African Java Robertson Pinotage 2019

This Pinotage is finished for 60 days in charred oak barrels which gives it's namesake flavor profile of "African Java." The toasted barrels, like you would find in a bourbon, provide it with some great smokey notes! Lekker!!! — 8 months ago
