Perfect supertuscan at $23. Got at Carmines Market. — a month ago
A delightfully powerful nose with full bodied red berries, fine herbs, wet stone, and mushroom overtones. Beautifully dry and herbaceous on the palate, leaning towards the savory at times. Tart red berries mingle with complex stony minerals, but finish out with a gentle sweetness and pleasant, light Beaujolais-like finale. Gorgeous. — 9 months ago

Red earth. Just ripe cherry. Red currant. Rose hips. Blood orange. Sweet potpourri. Ethereal texture. Wanted the wine to be just a tad more expressive at first and imagine it could be with time and/or decanting.
Second night update: hypothesis proved right. Wine unwound a little on second night. More open and relaxed. — 3 months ago
Nice minerality.Goes well with fish and spicy dishes — 4 months ago
Second bottle in less than a week and this is a smokeshow. Pure Cab. Such a good wine. What a nose. Tobacco, cigar, not Marlboro, awesome layered cassis, ripe berry, so ebullient, better aromas than my first bottle. This is really something else. Mint, raspberry. So complex and inviting. Palate is just so silky and structured. Concentrated like a mofo and man is it pure and juxtaposed with such intense minerality and it is mega fresh because it’s Tuscan Cabernet. Superb. Just superb. So hard to get wines like this right. Tuscan soul, Bordeaux heart, Ca cab 70’s brain. Like a Graves/St. Estephe cross. Gravelly and woodsy. Really tows that line between ripeness and freshness so well. — 10 months ago
