Saved this for Paloma. Drank with new abuelos — 4 years ago
The best merlot coming out of Napa? Hard to say, but definitely in the top three for me (Paloma, Hourglass and this). So much fruit wrapped in a silky package (@Bill Bender don’t go there). Hedonistic, but still so balanced. And an ‘11 to boot. This followed two exceptional wines and held its own. — 5 years ago
Really enjoyed it on the rocks. Also recommended by friend to mix one part vodka with two parts silver tequila, grapefruit juice and club soda over ice for a refreshing take on a Paloma! — 3 years ago
This started rocking after an hour. Chalky and freshly squeezed blackberries and plum on the nose. Black cherry on the palate with awesome cinnamon and baked berry medley pie. Still young, but killer merlot. Spring Mtn merlots (Pride, Keenan, Paloma) are the best in Napa in my opinion! Nice bottle @David Schoonover ! — 4 years ago

Lovely older Syrah fruit, plums mostly, also some pine notes, first commercial vintage of the Paloma Syrah (and only one labeled Milagro, a legal issue), medium-long finish, neutral oak, love it!! A tribute to the greatness of Barbara and Jim Richards!! — 4 years ago
2011 vintage - dark chocolate, dark berries, somewhat dry. — 4 years ago

It reminds me of cream soda for some reason but in a good and grapefruity way. Don’t mind if I do. — 2 years ago
