Light ruby colour. Complex nose at first, Burgundian, dominated by raspberry, and white pepper, also evolved vegetal notes, ferrous, undergrowth, etc. many evocations but all in finesse. After two hours of aeration, the wine is finally in place and the finish finally unfolds between raspberry, pepper and undergrowth. Light but chewy. One of my favourite styles!
— a month ago
Easy and delightful. 12% alcohol - exactly what you hope for if you want a French red for a casual dinner or some snacks — 2 years ago
My first time trying the 2016 vintage. This bottle was opened about 90min before service. The wine pours a deep garnet, fading to magenta, with a watery rim. It has a slightly turbid appearance and a nearly opaque core with slight, staining of the tears. On the nose, holy whole cluster city Batman! This Moulin-à-Vent is not faking the funk on a nasty dunk. Notes of dark fruit, curry, cheese rind, wet asphalt, and minerals. Fabulous acid and medium+ tannin. The finish is long, lingering, and slightly green. I fell in love with Thibault’s wines from M-à-V with the 2010 vintage and I’ve been smitten ever since. They are among the most exciting wines made in the Cru today. In 3-5 years, these will really slap. — 19 days ago
N; like violet pastilles. Swampy funk, blows off, stones, interesting blue/black
with a touch of garrigue.
P:Lithe, somewhat saline upon entry,
trips over the tongue, such nice mouthfeel. Blackberries, slightly prickly tannins, this wine could go 10 more years. The panoply of flavors hints at tomato leaf, black fruits, with that ever present chewy tannin structure lurking.
Mind you, we PnP this one.
I could drink this …a…long ….time — 2 months ago

Wow what an amazing buy. Complex nose, classic but complex. Right bank stunner. Cedar, truffle, cassis, olive tapenade , slate, salt, with even an iron complement. Quite structured with amazing tannins still rounding out the fruit. Dark berries, blueberries , ripe blackberries, great tannins to give this wine the structure it needs to keep on aging. Great now, would love to try again in another 5 years. 14.5% — 8 days ago
Having this again a year later and still very impressed. Incredible QPR and one of my new favorite Bojo producers. — a month ago
Rich body and a little heavier thank your usual suspect from Moulin-A-Vent, but delicatly structured. — a month ago

Kickass fruit punch. Beautiful ripeness and maturity. Some bubblegum, paired with pristine fruit. Very clean, juicy, satisfying. — 2 days ago
