Deep ruby hue with high saturation. Aromas and flavors of baking spice, blackberry, cream, jam, oak, raspberry, and vanilla. Medium-high body; medium-plus tannins; and medium-high acidity. Enticing nose; smooth palate; lovely, long finish. Solid Napa Cab, silky and balanced. Majority of fruit from Yountville, and the rest from Calistoga. Barrel-aged in French oak (45% new) for 19 months. — 3 years ago
