Juicy plum and cherry on nose, dry but much bigger than a provance, some grip on palette. — a year ago
Muddy ruby color with a brick rim. Aromas of black cherry/currant/plum with hints of wet soil, tar, leather and truffles. Same fruits on the pallet with additional notes of black licorice, dried sage and tobacco. Nice acidity level and the tannins are mellowing out. Medium bodied and very traditional in style. Touch of milk chocolate and menthol on the very long finish. Could age longer but glad we opened this one. Quite the crowd pleaser. Thanks for sharing, Kase and Petey! — 5 months ago

Enjoyable wine with some nice dusty and black liquorice notes, medium tannins and smooth finish. I recommend to put it 5 min in a fridge before serving it. Nice aglianico. — 4 years ago

Medium deep ruby still with medium wide garnet rim . Slightly oaky nose at first , then spiced degraded red fruit , touch of truffle , black tea , orange rind, dried herbs . Quite concentrated and high toned red cherry , with refreshing acidity and raspy noticeable tannins . Quite long and complex on the finish, with herbal , cacau and cranberry touches . This is at peak right now though absolutely no rush , improved and became more expressive over the 3 hours we enjoyed it , with a brief double decant to start; to drink over the next 5-8 years. — 2 months ago
