Rich, smoky, meaty, but well balanced. — 3 years ago
This defines “big red” - fruit forward plum and cherry, bold, rounded, and plush, with subsequent notes of earth and wood. I LOVED IT. And what a value ($20 CAD) — 4 years ago
Rhonda thinks it is great (and has a bear on it), but not quite as good as winchester. — 9 months ago
This fella really held up over 7+ years from harvest. While some initial freshness as evolved, the harmony/density is very respectable. 2015 was a hit/miss vintage depending on micro-climates. Can’t remember if this was all estate, nevertheless it was deep red/black fruit northern Italian style ride. — 10 months ago

We had the 2012 Vintage on 12/1-2/23. A real RRV PN with tastes of blackberry, black raspberry, baking spices and cinnamon. Medium bodied and well balanced. New World, but not overly fruity — 4 months ago
