Bodegas Los Bermejos

Lanzarote Listán Negro Rosado 2020

Very cool wine bursting with starfruit and some tropical flavors. Clean acidity and a mineral backbone. This may be the best wine I’ve tasted from the Canary Islands. — 16 days ago

Táganan Parcela Margalagua Red Blend 2019

Wasn’t quite ready for the reduction but I should have known better. Quite crispy. Freshly crushed pepper is prominent. Briar, spice, cherry pits too.

This is the chef’s take on a staple classic. Only for those who are ready for a new experience.

With air, the nose really deepens and fleshes out. Strawberry bubblegum?

La Solana Vino de Parcela Cordón Trenzado Listan Negro 2014

Really nice plushy persistence, especially for a medium bodied wine, and it improved with air, but there’s a touch of unpleasant raisin up front. — a month ago
