Interesting enterprise to taste a 12 year old #napa #cabernetsauvignon in the value segment of the market likely around $15 - $20 at release. Cork was well soaked and wine tastes of age, but not tired at all. In fact after a day in the fridge it seems to have gained some vim. Typical bramble fruit set on top of stewed plums. Palate is a bit earthier, less fruit-forward - plenty of acidity, chocolate and coffee notes mid-palate and still sturdy tannins on the finish. It must have been stored well at the retailer. — a month ago
Decent for the price. Held up to a hefty burger. — 2 months ago
An old friend revisited. Bright lemon yellow…medium weight, lemon, melon, tart pear. Smooth, perhaps a bit of unresolved sweetness. Nice tropical accompaniment to curried shrimps and rich lobster bisque al fresco with smooth tropical trade winds. Could use a touch more acidity — 3 months ago
Light as a feather, low alcohol, chuggable. — 2 months ago
Juicy and a bit smokey. Blackberries, cassis, and dark chocolate. The finish is a bit thin, though. — 2 months ago

Berry smoothie saturated with sediment particles that go down with all the might of what's pressed out of skins and stems and seeds to chew on. Big, grippy, concentrated murky stuff. And I'm definitely chewing.
Gobs of finger staining berries, woodsy accents, florals and mint and rocky minerals. Great QPR. — a month ago
