Easily one of the best white wines we have ever tasted. No wonder it’s award winning! A nice drive in Prince Edward County. — 2 months ago
Very deep crimson in colour. More cassis than tomato bush - throw in some mint and liquorice. Medium to full bodied yet with great intensity in this excellent Clare Valley Cabernet: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc. Thankfully (IMO) no overt Clare Valley menthol (like Wendouree can be). Palate has lovely black currant flavours with fine persistent tannins. Jeffrey Grosset is better known for his award winning Rieslings but has made a beauty with this Cabernet. Has the fortitude to go another 10 years if so desired. — 5 months ago
A stunning Okanagan Cabernet from the award winning Road 13 winery. Presenting delightful layering complexity this approachable Cab offers black currant, sage, leather and earth hints rounded out with wonderful tannins and smooth legs. As the label proclaims “Booyah”. Cheers 🍷🇨🇦 — 6 months ago
Not as spectacular as the award winning 16 vintage, but a solid wine, fruit forward, and balanced. — 3 months ago

Cherry Vanilla Coke wine. Lovely. Meiggs' Pardon 2018 Promissory Red Mendocino County, California
Taste a complex, award-winning wine — fitting for its complex namesake man. Like Meiggs this wine has a storied and complex history. This red blend unfolds as you enjoy it, especially when paired with a leisurely meal. The dark fruit flavors mix with earth and minerals, with a very slight herbaceous kick at the end. Filled with robust notes of plum and blackberry that play off of ripe acidity and beautiful tertiary notes, this is a wine that’s hard to put down. The only thing that can make it better is to pair it with rich foods as they come off the grill. It retails for $25. — 5 months ago

Pip + Plow 2018 Merlot Washington
Discover Washington winemaking at its finest with this must-try award-winning Merlot In Washington’s cool climate, it’s the warmest vineyards that make a wine worth waiting for. And wait a little you must. In these regions, the grapes take their time to ripen and develop the distinct flavor that makes this Merlot unmissable. The experts at Pip + Plow combined the sites in Columbia Valley, Horse Heaven Hills and Wahluke Slopes to create an environment that lets this wine thrive. The result? A blend of black fruit flavors that glide across the palate with a soft velvety finish. Look out for plum and blackberry with heady notes of tobacco and clove simmering beneath the surface. Enjoy with family and friends over a roast turkey and homemade cranberry sauce. Judges love it too! It took home a Silver medal at the 2020 Toast of the Coast Competition. It retails for $24 — 5 months ago
