This is a very tasty red blend from California.
Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Medium plus in body with a nice mouthfeel.
Dry and fruity on the palate with medium acidity.
Showing cherries, currants, plums, cooked strawberries, spices, oak, light vanilla, spices, dark chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, earth and black tea.
Nice length on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 8 year old is drinking very nicely now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years.
Spicy with nice complexity. Tasty and easy drinking. Rich, elegant and fruit forward.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 3 hours of airtime.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. A good party wine too.
Grapes are grown in Sierra Foothills and Sonoma County.
A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah.
14.7% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Double decant and pour(decent fine/cloudy sediment). A startling dark purplish magenta color. On the nose: Subdued nose of boysenberry, smoked meat, herbaceous, slate. Taste: smooth, round wine with an assortment of fading red/black/blue fruit, chocolate, graphite, potting soil and a medium dry finish. — 5 months ago
Cote Rotie style with 3% viognier cofermented. If you like cool-climate Syrahs get this now. Floral, white pepper, raspberry. — 8 months ago
