Deep, powerful and complex. Chunked chocolate and smoked herbs on the nose. Dark berry, gorgeous spiced plum and background of leather. Swirl to a long echoing finish.

Jan 17th, 2013A deep dark garnet color and a powerful nose. Nose - a dark cherry chocolate and subtle iron scent with funky earth and graphite, perfume notes lingering. Will definitely not be disappointed on the taste—smooth creamy and elegant! Sophisticated in its structure wetting the palate with plum-cherry fruit flavors, chocolate-espresso hits midway, finishing with cassis, red licorice, earth spices and a smoke cedar. Medium-plus body and a long finish.

Double decant and pour (decent fine/cloudy sediment). An imposing dark garnet color. On the nose: dark cherry, musty earth, slight minty menthol, iron, graphite. Taste: smooth, creamy, elegant medium plus body wine with dark plum/cherry, espresso, smoke, minerals, and a spiced red licorice long finish with firm drying tannins. YUM! Another terrific Saturday night...time to watch the next episode of Squid Games on Netflix.

Great GSM! Very smooth, has a great nose. 44% Grenache, 31% Mourvèdre, 25% Syrah. From Amadore county. Went great with steak and seafood. Overall, a very nice wine.
