Very deep fruit and a big wine. drinks nice with the aerator but could be really excellent with more time. — 25 days ago
2018 much more minerality on the nose! Not what Zin reminds you of. Red cherries blackberry black pepper spices licorice medium acidity long spicy finish moderate body dark. notes from visit to the winery.
Alexander Valley. Bright red volcanic soils, steep rocky slopes and western exposure. — 19 days ago
Dark, glass-clinging ruby red with black core. Inviting nose of tarry blackberry and burnt violets. Full palate yields the same in a cobbler with dried plum (not prune… more desiccated) and a hint of cocoa Creme. Dusty medium tannins… far less assertive than the primary variety would portend. Medium plus acidity. Evidence that Uruguay can produce premium wines at a reasonable price. True to their Italian heritage, the Pisano brothers make wines that fit the local cuisine. In this case, beef is where it's at, but any hearty fare (ribs, root veggies, tenderloin, cassoulet) will pair well. Drink now through 2028. — 14 days ago

Thanks Liz & Ben, a good day drinker… a ton of fruit, I say cranberries, heavy 14.1% alcohol…lots of rimming, most experts call this, We brought this to 11/11 this afternoon to get equal analysis and was told by our personal wine expert that this style of wine is extremely popular. He is going to try to get some for us to return the favor to the Eberle’s — a month ago
Cloudy pale yellow, v. expressive & aromatic but not on the fruit side.
Summer meadow, dried grass, bruised apples, fresh Mandarine peel. Funky, wild, so fresh & juicy!
On the palate this is equally funky, a bit cidery yet has brilliant balance. Great flow & energy, a touch of tannins, a spicy finish.
Definitely unorthodox yet sooo drinkable. The Seckinger brothers have done it again!

Dark cherry and spice nose. More dark cherry on the palate with cola, plum, cooked strawberry, cinnamon, clove, oak, with a hint of cocoa. Medium plus alcohol, medium minus tannins, and high alcohol. — a month ago
