Würzburger Trocken Riesling 2014

Outstanding and delicious. Just enough second gear to make the maturity interesting. Thank you, Tom! — 5 months ago

Riktigt gott. Fin syra. Litet sött. Om man är trött på riesling, vilket man ju aldrig är, kan man prova detta. — 3 years ago

Würzburger Stein-Harfe GG Riesling 2017

Opened for a day. Breath-taking creamy weight pretty much hid the riesling acidity. Minerality more delicate & crystalline than the pulsing quartz this cru sometimes gives. Fruit extremely refined, nothing over-ripe. Very, very impressed by winemaking quality in this— I’ve usually preferred the Juliusspital or even the state wines. Buy casewise. — a year ago

My husband got this on a business trip to Germany. We both liked it. Not too sweet, not too dry. — 5 years ago

Wurzburger Stein Silvaner VDP. Erste Lage trocken 2021

The profile is bit between Riesling and Grüner. On the nose, it’s quite aromatic with lemon zest, pear, and green apple. On the palate it has nice acidity and this almost metallic bite, medium finish. A well made Silvaner. — a year ago

Würzburger Stein-Berg GG Silvaner 2019

October 2022 purchased for 30 Euros from producer in Wurzberg. Elegant palate but needs another year or two for acidity to integrate and fruit to emerge. — 2 years ago

Würzburger Stein Riesling Erste Lage 2017

One of my favorite wine all over. Complex and long, super fresh but very well balanced acidity. Hard to describe the nose but fresh and a bit thick with some lemon peel but fresher. Very energized taste, fresh, balanced some citrus and maybe a bit of goose perry, a lot of minerals and wet stone, a bit of saltiness from the sea. Nearly a bit carbonated feeling since it is so happy. A bit of lime too and a long complex bitterness in the after taste. An awesome wine, nice on its own but even better with some fish with butter where the acidity is singing together with the fat and fsihness. Also goes well with some sour milk which is usually hard. — 5 years ago
