20231123 Rest. La Libera, Alba with Wakano
Very nice wine, a bit on the heavy side but this is given by the year 2007. Nice deep red and some taste of rhubarb, little tanin. Friendly to drink.

Warm Ruby color with a bouquet of berry fruit aromas and sweet perfumed herb spice. On the palate flavors of plum, cherry and blackberry with pepper and herbs, good structure, balanced with savory acidity and soft tannins. Medium+ finish ending with juicy fruit. Drink while it’s young to enjoy its flavors! — 2 months ago

Excellent wine, elegant but strong taste with a light finish.
Little of rhubarb and berries, almost no tanin.
Very easy and light to drink. Wow!
The Bovio 2013 regular would have been rougher and stronger.

Fairly big, rounded one. I am so went through several stages as we drink. Perhaps a bit less complex but delicious. — 10 months ago
Fruit forward. Light and effervescent. Cherry, peach, citrus. Paired with risotto Milanese. — 4 months ago
Nicely fresh and juicy with nice cherry aromas, a bit of orange peel, a flowery whiff, a touch of fresh thyme. Very fresh & enticing. Really lovely.
On the palate this is medium bodied, fresh & juicy, with nice depth & purity. Crunchy & firm yet juicy & ripe tannins. Bright cherry, a touch of wood in the background with an earthy, undergrowth finish. .
6h decanting, this is still so youthful but also so drinkable.
A really nice one! — 4 months ago
No formal notes here , but I was quite pleased this with choice . Quite ripe enticing nose , red cherries , fresh herbs and touch of spice , more or less repeated on the palate , with a succulent generous personality . Balanced acidity and quite fine , present tannins , just touch on the warm side , however a cooler serving temperature might have helped there . Drinking well now and over the next few years . Not complex but as a good everyday pizza or pasta wine , it does the job well. — 6 months ago
