A wonderful riesling ! — 4 years ago
Some of the snappiest acid I've ever enjoyed. Tart deliciousness. Love this wine. — 2 years ago

A fantastic wine. But let it warm up! I drank it at almost room temp. Scheurebe was developed by Georg Scheu in 1916. A cross of the Bukettraube with Riesling and it shows! Super aromatic, white grapefruit, herbs, touch of marjoram? Green apple. Hint of mandarine zest. Tart. Less acidic then Riesling! — 4 years ago
Pale yellow with a slight lime tint. Clean, clear nose with hints of lemon, apple, and interestingly I pick up a hint of goat cheese. Definitive sweetness with flavors of pineapple finishing with mouth watering acidity. — 5 years ago
At first, wet grass, hay, pear, apricot and dried apricot, some petrol and mushroom notes... this is still very fresh, and has a beautiful touch of residual sugar that balances the still bright acidity. Washes over your mouth with secondary flavors of dried fruits and a long finish.
Above notes were before decanting... after an hour this is presenting a whole new fruit and floral perfume- unbelievably high-toned- like smelling perfume on a wrist. Blossoms above a deep muskiness. Magic! — 3 years ago
This was a fucking beast. 15.5% abv, but it didn't drink like it. Classic Barossa. — 4 years ago
