2012 vintage: Straw coloured, extra dry (like before fore play), crispy with lemon zest along with Japanese sea urchin and fried chicken. Happy Sunday evening! — 13 days ago
Aromas of dark black fruits - blackberry, plum, blueberry. Bold and big, with soft integrated tannins that draw you into the inner sanctum of the grape varietal. A tinge of age at the ends, but not in the fore front. Nice lovely finish lasting over 30 seconds before it breaks down. Definitely at its peak of performance. Paired well with the bolognese. Even better with the veal chop with figs, pluots, and watermelon radish. As Elizabeth says, this is a gorgeous wine. “It’s a grown up, but not old”. Or as I like to say, like a 40 year old classy lady wearing an evening gown and pearls - just stunning! — 2 months ago
Deep red - purple color, medium - heavy body. Nondecriptive nose. Bone dry, red fruit with boysenberry on the fore-palate with an “oh too light” peppery and spicy finish. Tim’s mature and well developed palate observed a hint of vanilla at very end of the finish, however it eluded me. Consistent throughout the bottle. 2014. (@ 18 at the Radisson, Covington KY- iceberg wedge & blue cheese dressing, steaks with Brussels sprouts. Key lime pie for dessert) — 7 days ago
A little age has brought licorice and well-oiled leather to the fore while dried cherry and black cherry fruit still lingers on the palate. There’s a hint of garrigue on the finish along with a touch of raisin. Have a rare taste of Sicily through the door of the wind. — 2 months ago

Nose is great out of the gate. Almost rougeardish so elegant. Floral. As it opens very elegant. The vegetal aspects Recede and it the floral components advance to the fore. Lilacs. Raspberry flowers. Like a melange of medium dark flowers. Big lilacs.
Palate is very fresh. Delicious fruit. Such sweet fruit. This has an elegant, regal aspect to it. As it opens more floral bouquet extract. Lilacs. Sweet flowers. Awesome. Fruit is there but an element not the driver.
Great out of the gate. — 3 months ago
Champagne and sashimi, an ideal match, actually! There are green apple, pear and slight citrus scents in this bubbly. There is apple and pear again on the fore pallet with brioche and almonds on the finish. Every sip is bold but brighten with vivid acidity. Absolutely delightful sparkling. — 4 months ago
Ripe red fruits with cherry to the fore. Also spice and a hint of ginger - smoky. A light to medium bodied palate finishing with ultra fine grained tannins. To be honest not as impressive as I was expecting. This wine seems to between youthful exuberance but not yet gaining complexity. I did have one a few years ago brought by a friend which was delicious. Try the next in a year or so. — 23 days ago
A hand selected seven barrel Pinot blend! The color on this is medium Ruby with cherry and cranberry aromas as well as some clay. More cherry on the fore-pallet plus bright acidity, some damp earth, and an iron feel. The barrel blend certainly gives this pinot a deep complexity which is very unusual for Pinot (the blend that is); yet the blend seems to work in the bottle and more so in the glass. Great wine tasting experience, for sure, this is one I’ll remember for a while. — 2 months ago
High altitude Cab from Argentina. The color is inky red with a watery rim. Rich ripe dark fruit and oak scents. Time has served this wine well! The fore-pallet is again, fruit forward, velvety! The mid pallet has a great counter-balance composed of bold, oaky, and earthy flavors. The finish is long, slightly spicy, with strong tannings. Definitely a good wine; fruit is high but everything else falls right into place. — 4 months ago
