Wonderful everyday wine: medium body, full fruit, slightly earthy, low acidity. Stood up to an offal fest of veal heart, kidneys and liver. — 6 years ago

This is shockingly good. Blind I would probably say outstanding Napa Valley Merlot. Deep, pure dark berry/cherry fruit together with deep gravelly notes and a smoky minerality. Round and rich in the mouth, but not overextracted or flabby. Fruit concentration hides significant amount of soft tannin that will allow this to age, but it’s very drinkable right now. Great balance and length. Great Merlot. — 3 months ago
