Belle découverte, sérieux bien structuré, acidité bien présente. Fruits à chaire blanche, un peu de citron, minéral en fin de bouche. — a month ago
Straight up jasmine perfume. Complex herbal bouquet, juniper and rosemary along with cracker jacks and buttercream icing. Brilliant, deliciously subtle edge of mineral and spice. The @Lyle Fass northern rhone blanc portfolio is stunning and eye opening. This has insane drinkability. Pushing 9.6.

As authentic as it gets. Older than old school. Nose is iodine, granite, blackberries, and it’s all wrapped in a bow. It is so refined. Wow. This is a stunning young bottle of this. Always a 9.5 as you can see by previous notes but this is just beyond. Meaty. I mean like sick insane vivid meats. Smoked and cured. 9.8 nose. Holy shit. That palate is elegant as all can be but has serious structure and tannins but all wrapped in granite and blackberry fruit. What a finish. This is as good a St. Joseph as I’ve had in months. Wow the concentration. So granitic and mineral. Young. But incredible. 9.5 for now. — 10 days ago
Drank with mahi-mahi from bonefish grill. A little past it’s prime, but very good. Finish is moderate length. Floral. — 14 hours ago

Off the charts good, textbook classic Syrah made in a clean and almost too perfect way. Where are the faults? Kidding aside this is about as good as anything I have had from St. Jo from Gonon or anyone else. All the classic notes of black pepper, roasted meats, bacon fat, olive, the hole package...the nose is very pronounced and the palate has freshness to the generosity, a super long finish and a very fun and enjoyable bottle! — 2 days ago
I put my fork down halfway through dinner and logged into my local shop’s website so I could buy the last two bottles they had. Beautiful wine. On the nose and attack it’s like where’s the beef? Then it gets into your mouth and it’s all Burgundian fresh, feminine, incense, white pepper and perfume. Great syrah. — 11 hours ago

Another grand slam from Sylvain Bernard. Nose is ultra granite. Some black berry but man is this stoney. Smells like the Cornas but more Burgundian. Maybe the most expressive mineral nose I’ve ever had in a St. Joseph. 9.8 nose. This is doing it for me. It is so expansive. Intoxicating. The level of herbs are incredible. Just a knockout. Elegant and deep on the palate with terrific ripeness and intense concentration. But man is this painfully young. Awesome blancs, purity and length and so juicy with intense mineral grip. This needs to flesh out and the fruit needs to become more prominent. It will. My last French wine for a while! — 3 days ago
