When in Argentina drink…..rose? Syrah based rose from the extreme North of Argentina, in Juyjuy, just south of Bolivia & Paraguay. At 15.1% abv a “ light” red. Fresh cut wild strawberries soaked in rum, & sure, runs a bit hot but who’s counting when drinking rose in BA. Apparently some young, brave guns making wine this far north & it’s delicious. Enough balance to keep things lip smacking. — 4 months ago
Great but very sweet. More dessert wine. Non alcoholic. — 7 months ago
Saison DuPont is one of my favorite beers ever, amazingly my first time having this one. Insanely good, fuller body, more lemon oil than cream, pepper, clove, lemongrass, bread. I can’t believe they don’t add spices to this. So freaking complex. Finish lasts well over 30 seconds with lemon, poppy seeds, hay, jasmine tea. Wish I could find more of this. — 6 months ago
Crisp dry very refreshing. Purchased for a David Leibovitz cocktail the Perfect Pear. The label says 5.5% alcohol. — 6 months ago
Paired w/oven roasted oysters on the half shell, parmesan-herb butter, house made cocktail sauce, fresh lemon garnish — 6 months ago
Once opened a great wine. Big oak but a great finish. Needs a good hour plus to decant. — 8 months ago

At Rijs Amsterdam recommended for fourth course of white asparagus. Beautiful! A more complex Rose that gets under your skin without you noticing until you think hey what’s that? Do soft in texture but shows complexity and it lingers. Paired perfectly. Yum! A surprise and a great discovery. — a month ago
