Previous bottles were bomb but this one tasted kind of sour for some reason — 5 days ago
Dark bramble fruit on the nose. Blackberry, fig and earth on the palate. Good balance of mouthwatering acids transitioning to tobacco and leather lingering tannins on the finish. More sophisticated than sweet. — 10 days ago
Great wine and it’s not even their top Pinot Noir at Talley Farms it was very easy to drink with nice fruit notes great acidity and fantastic medium body wine — a day ago
This overdelivers in spades. Blend of Syrah, Zin, and Mourvedre - this oozes ripe blackberry, plum, and other dark fruit, campfire, roasted meat, wet concrete and earth, all with a healthy dose of American oak that just really works. Creamy and full body with medium + tannins, this doesn’t drink like a 5 year old wine at this price point, and I could be fooled into thinking this was produced by Ridge pretty easily. Few things are quite as satisfying as the rare $20 home run! — a month ago
The 2012 La Grande Année Rosé is airy, gracious and so wonderfully inviting. Crushed flowers, mint, white pepper and red berry fruit are all gracefully woven together. Today, the 2012 is naturally quite young and still shows the tension of a Champagne that was disgorged just a few months ago. Readers who prefer Champagnes with softer edges and a bit more flavor complexity will want to cellar the 2012. I have to admit, I very much like the wine today, in its youthful state, where its energy and focus are front and center. The 2012 is a blend of 67% Pinot Noir and 33% Chardonnay taken from 21 villages built around a core of Aÿ and Verzenay Pinot Noir and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oiry Chardonnay, crus that are quite complementary. Disgorged January 2020. Dosage is 8 grams per liter. (Originally published in August 2020) (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2020) — 8 days ago
This is a very tasty Chenin Blanc from France. Showing honey, yellow apples, apricots, tropical fruits and spices.
Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity.
Semi sweet on the palate and very tasty.
Nicely balanced with a slight buttery feel. Nice and elegant.
I've had a few different vintages before, and it keeps on being consistent and yummy.
12% alcohol by volume.

Was meant to be a slight diversion, but ended up knocking back two of them and spending the rest of the night drinking champagne... — 6 days ago
