Fruity and sweet, strawberries and plums — a month ago
Lovely perfume, bright acidity, cherry. Very nice. — 3 months ago
Produced since 1994 and named for Mt. Jefferson in the Cascade Range that is east of Cristom Vineyards and visible from their tasting room. From a blend of estate vineyard grapes, the wine is Ruby with aromas of red berries, floral and spice. On the palate flavors of fresh strawberry with tea leaves and cola notes, clean and vibrant. Fine soft tannins, long finish, carrying fruit and ending with a soft spice character. Very nice, great value!! — 7 months ago
Very perfumed nose has lots of spiced dark cherry fruit, along with a moist gravelly note. When first opened, it was round and polished-feeling in the mouth, but as it aired it tightened up and showed a lot more structure (tannin/acid). Flavors too are very perfumey and long. This is nice now and will age a few more years for sure. — a month ago
Onbthis Thursday night the eve of another weekend I have opened the 2017 Cristom Eileen Vineyard Pinot Noir. This wine is from the Eola-Amity Hills of the Willamette Valley Oregon.
Onnthe nose there is cherry, strawberry, cranberry, a good barnyard funk, clove and earthy notes.
On the palate there are notes of cherry, rasoberry, strawberry, clove, vanilla, herbs, cinnamon and earth.
This wine is medium bodied with a velvety mouthfeel, medium acidity and medium + fine tannins which leads into a long red fruit finish. Lets have a great weekend. It is surely shaping up to be just that here. Stay safe and healthy and all will be good. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 3 months ago
Medium garnet/purple, nose of earth & some fruit. Very smooth in the mouth, barely medium body vs light, touch of sweetness with strawberry and red plum. Some dryness, mild tannins, some acidity. Very nice! — 15 days ago
