When I first opened, I was pretty shocked at how young it seemed. Lots of oak and restrained fruit. I decanted, and after an hour it began to show its age. Cigar box, leather, and currant. On the palate it was still fairly bright and mostly primary. Black fruit, some spice, a little vanilla on the back. Unmistakably new world. All in all drinking well for a nearly decade old wine. — 8 months ago
Really solid Pinot - softer body, earthy notes and some dark fruit — 5 months ago
The Cristom Louise Vineyard chardonnay was a delightful Willamette chardonnay, able to stand with the better Napa and Carneros chardonnay. — 4 months ago
We had this good Chardonnay on 6/3/23. Lemon zest and some minerality. Well balanced and medium bodied — 6 months ago
