Quilceda Creek

CVR Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2017

Too often this, wine is drunk at release. Just a little patience goes a long way. At 7 years the primary black and red fruit is still there with dried plums showing up along with cedar cocoa tar anise. Tannins still there so can go along a bit longer bit why wait — 19 days ago

Mt. Jefferson Cuvée Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2021

Quite young but totally ready to drink. Beautiful aromas of wild berries, violets and wet potting soil. The palate is full of red berry fruit with notes of mushroom, Earl Grey tea, fresh basil, mint and sweet spices. A note of “steaminess” (whole cluster?) and a beautiful touch of mineral on the finish. Lovely balance and perfect acidity. Light bodied, silky tannins and so fresh tasting. Great effort! — 7 days ago

Chateau Ste. Michelle

Columbia Valley Riesling 2011

This has apple, pear, and citrus notes. It has a sparkling mouth feel, is light bodied. It is a slightly sweeter wine than most the other wines we’ve tried but still acidic — 11 days ago

Columbia Valley Chardonnay 2022

Light, almost floral aroma. Much less dry, but rather on the sweeter side. Tasteful notes of sweet lemon and apple. — 19 days ago

Leonetti Cellar

Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

One of the best big Cabs. Certainly of Washington State it’s the best Cab in that state. Very smooth, deep rich purple hints of berries. 2016 vintage. Absolutely excellent. — 8 days ago

Strawberry and raspberry, watermelon candy. I can see people that don’t enjoy wine liking this one. — 2 days ago

Columbia Crest

H3 Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

I had bought this wine for my wife who likes robust wines - what a pleasant surprise in addition to its body. It had complex bursting flavors. Consistently flavourful from the first taste on my lips to the Gargle and aftertaste. I matched it with sirloin steak from an elk and some mushrooms with garlic, and the universe was as it should be. — 13 days ago
