Cute! Peachie. Welcoming for the month of May and finally warmer temps. Floral and crisp. Bring on the seafood boil.

Sipping Fine Wine

Chateau Ste. Michelle is the oldest winery in Washington with some of the most mature vineyards in the Columbia Valley. Aromas of sweet stone fruits and blossom notes, very typical of Riesling. On the palate flavors of crisp apple and peach with honey notes, lively acidity that screams for food. Medium finish ending with mineral notes. Under $10, great value. Tasting Sample.

Really enjoyed this Riesling. Fresh and floral, almost semisweet.

Horrible, for a Riesling, and baaaaad for Ste. St. Michelle: lots of “funk” to begin with, thst, at room temp, devolved to “spice”... not at all what I expect from a Riesling, especially not one of the only ones to be regularly found in the grocery store. Was intriguing at first, bust after all, garbage. 🤬

Medium dry with slight fizz. Peach notes .paired well with seafood. I prefer dry Rieslings, but I liked this.
